This may be a different food genre for most, but those who are lucky enough to have access to venison, know just how good it can be! And this is a favorite of mine because ends up on the grill. And I love to grill all sorts of things, all sorts of ways.
From a food preparation point of view, I like the recipe in that that marinade is simple yet very flavorful. Wild venison can be known to be very gamey, and this marinade helps break down the proteins and soften the meat without overpowering the flavor of the wild game.
I really need to give great thanks to The New York Times Cooking section for this great recipe. These Marinated Venison Steaks will be a regular meal cooked on my grill. You can find this and a lot of my foodie ideas in my Facebook Group, What to cook today.
