So we found ourselves out to dinner last night. We choose to dine at a favorite local haunt called The Corner Stop in West Corner. I love it there. They have a great atmosphere and they prepare their meals with fresh locally grown or sourced produce and fish.
I have been the butt of some jokes in my family as I will undoubtedly order the fish taco if it is on the menu. So, in an effort to mess with the gaming that is occurring on my ordering habits, I decided to trip up the metrics and order a salmon burger. And it did not disappoint. I was so surprised that now have the desire to see if this could be a meal that could be worked into the midweek rotation?
With that said, here is the recipe that I choose to follow to make my own salmon burger. It will start with some fresh fish from Mulaney’s Seafood here in Cohasset (and also in Scituate). You can bet that I will top off the burger with some fresh greens that I will get at Holly Hill Farm at the Cohasset Farmer’s Market.
I have to give the credit for this recipe to my friends at The Food Network for his cooking find.
So take a look at this simple way to offer up a yummy burger alternative. I am hoping that this one becomes a regular in my kitchen.
I think you’ll like this one. Easy to make in simple steps.
